For this Sip & Mingle, we're looking ahead to the new year and getting a jump start on our health and fitness resolutions. Ballston newcomer, BASH Boxing will be there giving away some great prizes and giving you the chance to get a taste of the BASH experience. Find out how you can enter for a chance to win a free and fun workout at their newest studio! Sweetgreen is bringing an array of seasonal greens and Craft Kombucha will be offering samples of their naturally sparkling tea known for its amazing detox benefits.
But what would a happy hour be without the booze? From 5-7 pm we'll be serving refreshing beer, wine, and specialty cocktails by Belle Isle Premium Moonshine!
Our charitable partners this month are Diveheart and Arlington Arts Center. Diveheart's mission is to build confidence, independence and self-esteem in the lives of children, adults and veterans with disabilities through scuba diving, scuba therapy and related activities.They work with individuals who have a variety of disabilities, including physical and developmental disabilities, vision and hearing impairments, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and more. Diveheart seeks to help its participants “Imagine the Possibilities” in their lives.They will be accepting donations by either cash or card at the event, or you can donate HERE.
Arlington Arts Center (AAC) is a nonprofit contemporary visual arts center dedicated to presenting and supporting new work by regional artists in the Mid-Atlantic states. Through exhibitions, educational programs, and subsidized studio spaces, AAC serves as a bridge between artists and the public. The goal is to increase awareness, appreciation of, and involvement in, the visual arts in Arlington County, VA and the region.
